Free NHS services for qualifying patients

You may be exempt from paying NHS charges if :

 

  • You are under 26 years of agE

  • You are pregnant

  • You have had a baby in the last 12 months

  • You or your partner receive Income support, Income related Employment Support Allowance, Universal Credit                                 or Income-based Jobseekers Allowance

  • You or your partner hold a current NHS Tax Credit Exemption Certificate

  • You or your partner receive Pension Credit Guarantee

 

Unless you are in one of the groups entitled to free NHS dental treatment or help with the cost you will require to pay 80% of the cost of your NHS dental treatment up to a maximum of £384 per course of treatment.
